As part of efforts to enhance national partnerships and expand collaboration between civil society organizations and economic sectors, His Excellency former Senator Eng. Abdel Hakim Mahmoud Al-Hindi, Chairman of the Jordan Hotel Association, welcomed Issam Al-Masaeed, President of the Knights of Change Team for Political Development and Civil Society Advancement, at the Association’s headquarters in Amman. The meeting was attended by several members of the administrative and executive boards of both associations.As part of efforts to enhance national partnerships and expand collaboration between civil society organizations and economic sectors, His Excellency former Senator Eng. Abdel Hakim Mahmoud Al-Hindi, Chairman of the Jordan Hotel Association, welcomed Issam Al-Masaeed, President of the Knights of Change Team for Political Development and Civil Society Advancement, at the Association’s headquarters in Amman. The meeting was attended by several members of the administrative and executive boards of both associations.
Al-Hindi praised the growing role of the Knights of Change Team in empowering Jordanian youth and activating their contribution to modernization and development efforts. He also outlined the key milestones of the Jordan Hotels Association’s work, emphasizing its mission to protect the interests of hospitality establishments, enhance the competencies of workers in the sector, and promote Jordan’s image as a leading, secure, and stable tourist destination with advanced infrastructure.
Al-Hindi stressed that associations and civil society institutions share a complementary responsibility in driving development. He highlighted the importance of establishing strategic relationships with impactful national institutions like Knights of Change Team to unify efforts in areas such as training, empowerment, and community awareness in alignment with broader national visions.
For his part, Issam Al-Masaeed expressed his sincere gratitude to Eng. Abdel Hakim Al-Hindi for the warm welcome, commending the leadership role the Jordan Hotels Association plays in supporting the tourism sector as a vital economic pillar and a cultural front for Jordan both regionally and globally.
Al-Masaeed emphasized that Knights of Change Team view the tourism sector as a strategic partner in national development and affirmed the Association’s readiness to develop joint programs and initiatives that integrate youth into key sectors, enhance their skills, and contribute to building a participatory knowledge-based economy founded on creativity and institutional synergy.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming the importance of transforming shared visions into practical steps through signing cooperation agreements, implementing training programs, and organizing national events that highlight the role of youth in supporting tourism, preserving cultural identity, and strengthening public trust in institutions contributing to the country’s future.
